“That was a nice era of collaboration with (directors) George Vale and Anthony Seck. Well, I think actually it may have been the first real video I was in of real creative value and in retrospect I think it laid the groundwork for me to understand the power of the silhouette. With Broken being such a conglomerate of personalities, it was interesting to make a video where everyone was stripped of their persona and just became shadows of energy. It cloaked everybody, but there's a lot you can express with an outline of a form. It looks and feels like the gang hang that we are.”
