Hey, it's me, yet again! Oh, yeah, went to this show too, passport at-the-ready! I always love visiting Toronto, a truly world-class city, no doubt...and, when the trip is to see/hear Feist in concert, well then, what more could a music (and, in particular, Feist-music) freak like myself ask for (answer, of course = not much more, not much more)!?! Okay, so as for the show, always love it when I can catch a performance in the artist's "hometown"...last great one was seeing Chrissie Hynde front her Pretenders in Akron (OH), circa 2003...which, come to think of it, reminds me that I've long thought that you, Leslie Feist, are - ready for this or not - the "new Chrissie Hynde" (of course, I mean for you to take this as a very high compliment, which I'm almost sure that you will)! The show was spectacular as ever, as was my overall trip/Toronto-experience...one "contrary" thing, though...right before "So Sorry," when you asked the (few) Americans in the audience to sing that screetchy high(est) note, I just couldn't comply...y'see, though I must say that I can sing well (thanks, Mom!), it was determined long ago that I'm a "baritone," not a "soprano!" I know the "limit to my love (ie, vocal range)!" Ah, but perhaps I digress...loved the Kevin Drew tune too (swearing and all!), as it really makes me wanna buy his album (though I'd honestly more readily purchase something like an EP of you, Feist, performing Kevin's songs!)...as always, All My Best To Ya ("my fellow American" - "dual citizenship" - too cool!)... (-:
Hello, Just want to let you know (And I hope leslie gets to read these) that the show was probably one of the best shows I think I have ever been to. I have been in many bands and played many shows my self being a drummer for 9 years and that just blew me away. I'm a plumber downtown toronto and I have almost everyone on the site listening to your album haha. Amazing, I have the upmost respect for you, and your music. Please keep playing, and let me know if you ever get stuck without a drummer, I would be honored to play with you.
One more thing...ever thought of a un-pluged show? It takes talent to do it but I know you could pull it off.
So for the people reading this, this woman is amazing......buy, buy, buy....then buy some more.
keep up the good work.
