I think Feist handled the talkers beautifully with the little bit she did about people "shutting the hell up" when she plays softer and quieter.

It is now years later and this show still plays like re-verb through my mind. I searched high and low to find out what this enchanting sunset song was and about a year ago I finally found it. Bahamas, Sunshine Blues. I'm sure by now that everyone who was desperate, like me, to find the song has made the same discovery but just in case someone had yet to find it, I hope this revelation makes your day.
Before I found Sunshine Blues I had emailed someone who had posted a video on youtube of feist singing the song at Deer Lake Park to ask if they could send me an mp3 of the recording. Because that person was nice enough to oblige me, I have been listening to Feist sing her version and all of us cheering her on ever since

Great show! Leslie had a broken foot from an incident a night or two before, but what a performance. i believe she also guested on drums for the opening act.

2.5 years later, I am still in awe of that concert in Dallas. She is amazing. What a presence. I love the way she rocks on her instruments. I can't wait to see her again, anywhere - in concert, on Colbert, on SNL, Jimmy Falon. I couldn't believe when at Sam's Club a few weeks ago I tested the Bose Noise Cancelling headphones. Guess what band's song was used as the demo! Yes. Come back to Dallas soon! PS. Hayden is awesome, too!

This was my first Feist concert and I was blown away. She had to borrow a guitar from Rogue Wave as her guitar's neck broke that day and she did not have a backup; did not seem to make a difference. She was like other good guitarists, the magic is in the musician rather than the instrument.
In addition, she told us they were videotaping the show; I looked but have not found it to be released. She really connected with the crowd and we loved her; lots of appreciative call and response with the crowd.. the backing band were 3 brothers who were truly versatile and made the live version as good/better than the studio.
This concert stands out in my mind as one of the most memorable because I came in with modest expectations, having limited familiarity, and was totally captivated her voice and delivery, not to mention her musicianship. Really nice when she brought out the looper for "Sea Lion."
